Air Exposure Review

The Air Exposure Review is a scientific assessment that describes community exposures and associated risks to human health from chemicals in the outdoor air in the Sarnia area. This involved reviewing both monitored and modelled data for relevant air chemicals in the area to determine health risks associated with chemicals in outdoor air. The results of the Air Exposure Review help us to better understand links between environment and health risk, and to identify priorities for improving local air quality.

The assessment was conducted by a consulting team (Intrinsik, CanNorth, 4 Directions of Conservation), and was being guided by a Government Air Exposure Review Panel that supported the quality, accuracy, and relevance of the consultants' deliverables.
